NURSE PRACTITIONER

Rachel Toyonaga

Rachel Toyonaga is a compassionate Nurse Practitioner with a unique blend of professional and personal experience. She began her NP career in primary care but was drawn to SHARPE Minds through her close connection to ADHD—having both a sibling and a parent diagnosed. At SHARPE Minds, Rachel often handles initial in-person assessments and enjoys helping patients and parents make sense of behaviors, emotions, and care plans. PARENT COACH

Ingrid Smith

Ingrid Smith is a Parent Coach with over thirty years of experience as an elementary school teacher. She founded The Way Forward Coaching to support parents of “firecracker kids”—children who are sensitive, unpredictable, and explosive—as well as families of LGBTQ+ children in transition.

Through her work with SHARPE Minds Clinic, Ingrid offers online coaching and text support, helping parents build calm, confidence, and connection at home. Her approach is shaped by both her professional background and lived experience as a mother of a trans daughter, a son with ADHD, and two stepchildren.

She also leads workshops and webinars for parents and, outside of coaching, enjoys reading, fitness, nature, and time at her cottage on the world’s longest freshwater beach.
