Celebrating Cultural Pride for Asian Heritage Month

May marks Asian Heritage Month, a time to celebrate the contributions and rich cultural traditions of Asian communities across Canada. Following Sikh Heritage Month in April, this month also serves as an opportunity to reflect on the experiences of children from South Asian backgrounds. Pediatrician Dr. Robin Baweja, a children's mental health advocate and author of the children’s book "Dancing to Brave," introduces young readers to cultural pride.
